Please join us for our new on-going series of Pop-Up Gallery installations. Booth Contemporary is a pop-up gallery curated by artist Taylor Means. The series will focus on contemporary artists, and kicks off with ‘Private/Public, an exhibition of Chris Peters’ large scale photographs. Peters creates his images utilizing site-specific camera obscuras in rooms of abandoned buildings, creating powerful images through the juxtaposition of interior and exterior spaces.

The gallery’s mission is to showcase contemporary art, in what may be considered a surprising and converse setting and to make the art more accessible to the average shopper. These large-scale images placed in a stark white environment provide an interesting contrast to the busy and multihued environment typically present in Kudzu.

Please join us this Saturday, May 2 from 4 – 7 pm for a celebration of the inaugural show.
